The Paperboy is a slightly lacklustre affair with little imagination. It's a film that will be marketed with the face of Zac Efron, though it ultimately provides notable performances from Cusack and Kidman.
A funny and engaging look at how within the criminal world of UK based relative poverty, ingenuity and the desperation to escape the enveloping anomie can drive people to extreme lengths.
A day one patch will be available for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as mentioned by a circulating e-mail from Bethesda Softworks. The video game company has also gone a step further in mentioning some interesting tidbits regarding future DLC for the game.
Something that needs to be clarified: Cities XL 2012 is simply an expansion pack to Cities XL 2011 that doubles as a stand-alone game. Because of this, the review technically is reviewing both, but more emphasis is placed on 2012, mostly because I never played 2011.
Dungeon Defenders is a game that has brought a tear to my eye. Not only do I have a game I can play with my family, but I also have a game that is fun to play with my family. Put simply, it's a game that can be played with anyone and everyone, and an enjoyable one at that.
I don't remember Real Steel all that well. In all honesty, I really only remember that part where Mason Dixon almost lost to Rocky but then he won. Beyond that all I can really remember is Hugh Jackman being a scum-bag and his son being more intelligent than any 11 year old should be. It would appear however that it did really well in the box-office and that a game was made about it. A game which I got to play.
When Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken was put on my desk, I was displeased to say the least. I was told I was going to be reviewing a game about birds with attitude. This didn't make me happy in the slightest. I had just gotten done beating Angry Birds: Rio and was finished with bird-based games for the next few weeks. Reluctantly, I agreed to review it. Then, an hour passed. Then two. Before I knew it, seven hours had passed and I wasn't bored. It seemed that I was not only wrong, but I was an idiot for thinking that this game was going to be utter crap. It was quite the opposite.
